Live Barrow AFC home match commentaries will return to the Radio Lonsdale airwaves once again for the 2019-20 season. Matt Ryder, Andy Steel and Tom Brownlee will cover a handful of pre-season friendlies from July 2019 and then the full league campaign gets underway from the first weekend in August, with our first live game being on Tuesday 6th August against Harrogate Town (Kick-off 7.45pm)

With manager Ian Evatt into his second full season in charge and with the squad shaping up nicely ahead of the new campaign, the Bluebirds will be looking to improve on last season’s Top 10 finish and make a drive towards the play-off places. In our 5th consecutive season of bringing you Barrow AFC commentaries sinch re-launching the service, our commentary team will hope to bring you plenty of excitement and drama as it unfolds!

RADIO LONSDALE – THURSDAY EVENING WARD VISITS

Every Thursday from 6:00 PM

The Radio Lonsdale Ward Visiting Team, visit as many wards as possible from 6:00 PM every Thursday evening.

We take Music Requests, which are then played on Hospedia Channel 1, after the ward visiting time is over, from 8:00 PM.

Patients, family and friends may also make requests, at any time, via our telephone recording system, on 01229 877877.  Patients can call FREE at any time, via their bedside consoles on *800 (Star Eight Hundred).
