The National Health Service will turn 70 years on the 5th July. Radio Lonsdale will host a series of special programmes the week of the celebrations including a NHS dedicated Pete Special show on Wednesday 4th July and a special Request Show on the day. Furness General has also been promoting this landmark occasion with various publications, stories and events around the hospital.
