Tell us a little about yourself
I grew up in the local area and first got involved in Radio Lonsdale between year 2000-2002 while in Sixth Form doing ward visiting and eventually being let loose presenting a show with fellow member James Edmond. I moved to Newcastle in 2002 to go to University and lived and worked there until 2008 when I moved back to the Furness area. We picked up 'James and Steve in the Evening' again in October 2008! I work in Barrow, live on Walney and I am married with 2 young sons.
What Kind of Music you do like?
I like all kinds of music, it depends entirely on the situation. I like pop songs if done well, rock, indy, even a bit of classical and songs which probably come under obscure genres that I don't know the name of!
What got you interested in Radio Lonsdale?
When I first got involved it was a great opportunity to meet people and get involved in the community, and eventually of course get involved in DJ-ing. The same still stands today and it's really exciting being part of a team that really wants to do great things with Radio Lonsdale as an active charity in the community and, of course, entertaining patients, staff and visitors in FGH!
