Barrow AFC boss Adrian Pennock has added his 2nd signing in 3 days as the work to restructure his struggling Barrow Side Continues.
Having already Added Goalkeeper Steve Arnold on Wednesday, the Bluebirds boss has gone back to Former club Forest Green Rovers to bring in 23 year old Forward Luke James, on Loan for the rest of the Season.
James (pictured playing for Bristol Rovers last Season against Barrow in the FA Cup 2nd Round) started his career with Hartlepool as an 11 year old, progressing through the clubs youth academy before going on to make 90 appearances for the club. Whilst there he earned the record of being Hartlepool’s youngest ever goalscorer when he scored his first goal for the club aged just 17 years and 64 days.
His Performances for Hartlepool soon caught the attention of clubs higher up the Football League pyramid eventually moving to League One Peterborough on September 1st 2014.
He made 32 appearances for The Posh scoring just 1 goal in a 3 year spell with the club which also saw him loaned out to Bradford(9apps 0goals), Hartlepool(20apps 1goal) and Bristol Rovers(24apps 0goals). Before Signing for Newly Promoted Forest Green in the Summer.
James made a total of 13 appearances for Forest Green this season.
