Friends Re-united at Barrow as Arnold becomes a Bluebird

Ady Pennock has turned to a familiar face as he starts the rebuilding work that was threatened, following Tuesday nights performance, which saw Barrow crash out of the FA Trophy against Vanarama North Brackley.

6ft 5 Goalkeeper Steve Arnold (Formerly of Stevenage, Forest Green, Dover & Gillingham), put pen to paper on an 18month deal with the Bluebirds on Wednesday, and is expected to go straight into the squad for Saturday’s trip to fellow National League strugglers Guiseley.

Arnold (28) has previously played for Pennock at Forest Green where he helped the Gloucestershire based Village side to the Play Off Final in 2016. He was reunited with Pennock for a 2nd time at Gillingham this summer following good performances for Kent based National League side Dover last season.
