Radio Volunteering
Do you have a few hours to spare each week?
Do you enjoy meeting people?
Or maybe you just like good music.
Whatever your reason there could be a place for you here at Radio Lonsdale.
We welcome potential volunteers, 16 years and over, from all walks of life. Some of our volunteers have gone on to work in the radio industry but most just do it for the enjoyment of being part of Hospital Radio.
Initially you will be invited to join in on an established Radio Show. If desired this involvement can lead to presenting your own show, organising fund-raising events, or even help in managing and promoting the station.

It's extremely satisfying to have a direct involvement in making a stay in Furness General Hospital more enjoyable. If you're enthusiastic, reliable and a good team member, you could soon be an important part of Radio Lonsdale.
